The books don’t have any torn pages, but vol. 1 has an intention on its spine. The slipcase has some damage, like it was dropped, see photos. There is a stain on the cover of vol. 2.

John Payne Collier 2 Volume HC Box Set Slipcase Scholarship Forgery 19th Century 2004 Please note- volume 2 has some discoloration along the fold of the spine on the front and back. I’m not sure what it is- dark spots along the spine – possibly something up with the glue used in the binding? Price reflects condition. Otherwise the books and slipcase box are in great shape.
